Two updates in a single day, holy shit.
Anyways I just got off the phone. I am going to be picking up a 1986 Mazda RX-7 GXL here in about 2 weeks. Not currently running, but it is totally worth it, 100 bucks 100% in tact. Just need to rebuild the motor, and some minor piddly stuff.

9:52 am - Another Day

Okay, as usual I am looking for ways to make more money so I can build up some sort of a savings. Anyways I haven't found a good source yet. No one seems to want to commission my mate (aside from you Taku, yer awesome). We haven't been able to afford new needles for my mate to learn more about tattooing.
Then for me, I haven't been able to find anyone that really needs any computer work done. Nor is anyone I know is really looking to upgrade/build a new system. So pretty much the only way I personally have to make extra money on the side is right out. So I guess it is finally time to start looking for a second job. Probably Pizza delivery driver with my ex-roommate. Gonna talk to him to make sure it isn't going to adversely affect his hours. And then I gotta go in to the pizza joint where he works and see about getting to work. Always need more money, so I gotta see what can be done.
If anyone has any ideas for making some money, I am open to any ideas.

Well, here i sit 4 freakin AM. I am trying to adjust my sleep schedule for my new shift at work. I now get to work from midnight to 10am. Fantastic.
Well, I just hope that this shift won't be stuck on me for too long. Hopefully I can get shifted to a daytime schedule again before too long.

Lately I have been seeing alot of my close friends beginning to pursue their lifes dreams, and are actually enjoying life for a change. I am beggining to think it is about time for me to enact such a change for myself. Though at this exact moment I can't jump head first into it, I need to make a couple of preparations first.
My mate Techs is now learning to tattoo, I bought her tattoo supplies on Friday, and so far she seems to be doing okay with it. With this little development it is very likely that I may be able to pick up a passion of mine and potentially turn it into a carreer choice. Which is Piercing, I Have been fascinated with it for some time, and those of you that have known me for a while have seen me with piercings, and now with out, since my current profession doesn't allow visable piercings.
So if my mate can get her tattoo thing off the ground, I will be taking up an apprecticeship for being a piercer. Which, since I need to wait for my mate to become profitable with this little venture it gives me time to get to know the piercers around my area and also to find one worth learning from. Then comes the fun part of talking the piercer into taking me on as an apprentice to the craft.
This should prove fun, and interesting all in the same little bit, not to mention the bonus of free tattoo's for me since my mate is going to be doing them now.

Here goes nothing, house sitting for my wifes parents this week, so I have access to high speed internets for a bit.
Also I am still planning on buying the tattoo kit for my wife later this month. probably around the 17th or so. Seeing as that is when I will have the most money available.

Well, looks like it has been awhile since I have updated anything on here. according to LJ it's been 28 weeks since I Have posted anything. so I guess some of you have forgotten I even exist, and others probably are wondering if I fell off the face of the planet.
Anyways I decided to try and keep something up on here, once a week hopefully, but at least once a month.
As things go life is good, I am looking to buy a house. And with the market like it is, it shouldn't be too hard to find a nice one for cheap. Also, as I am typing this my wife is in the other room helping our kitty cat give birth to her first litter of kittens, so far we have 5. Not sure if there are going to be anymore though. We will have to wait and see.
Also, I have decided to get my wife a tattoo kit when the money makes itself available, hopefully next month. With her getting into tattooing it should hopefully generate some extra income when she gets some practice in. who knows, I may even purchase it this month, if I can go without buying smokes for awhile. 1 months worth of them should cover the cost of the kit and then some, oh I guess I should say I am trying to quit smoking, it's an expensive habbit. Though I think with the route I am going I am not much better off, I have started chewing tobacco again. But at least it is cheaper than smoking.
Taku, Get your ass over here for a visit, we miss you, and we have an extra bedroom we can put together for you to visit us in. It has a bed and everything. no couch for you this time around :P and bring the tattoo gun. Mebbe I will have Techs here tattoo gun by then too, and we can just go nuts :P
Kiteless, thanks again for letting my buy your baby, I love and of course I am still taking great care of it. It is a wonderful piece of machinery. :P

Lately I have seen a lot of negative heat put on law enforcement officials. I will admit there are a few Officers that skirt the line between Officers of the Law, and Criminals, but there are very few of these Officers. And when an Officer that crosses that fine line into being a criminal, it is a bad thing, don't get me wrong. But bringing negative heat on every officer out there is not cool. Being in Law Enforcement is not an easy career, and it is very dangerous. You never know if that car you just pulled over is full of criminals, or just a tired husband on his way home to his wife. We gamble with our lives everyday so that maybe just maybe, we can prevent a murder, a Robbery, or Rape.
Most officers are not self righteous individuals, nor do we do this for our own good. It is a calling that we must respond to in order to have peace in our lives. Everyday officers of the law put their lives on the line to protect law abiding citizens. Sometimes faulty information is given to law enforcement, or incomplete information, and accidents happen from time to time. Just like with any other profession.
I don't know. I just pisses me off. Most people hate cops, until some one robs them blind and the cops come to the rescue. A lot of the time this is a thankless job but we do it anyway in hopes that more people can sleep at night, not worrying that their lives will be in jeopardy because the criminal that was going to hit their house that night, is sitting in jail, because a cop caught him before he could get to that house.

12:27 am - It's Been awhile

I know it's been awhile since I have posted anything here. But honestly, not like very many people give a rats ass if I update my LJ or not.
Any who. Lately a few people have said to me I am an interesting person. A good number of people have said this to me over the past few years. Every time I hear it I try to think of what exactly makes me interesting, time and time again I can think of nothing. I really cannot figure out what makes me so interesting to people. I suppose it could be the fact that I really do not talk about my self very much. And while pondering that thought I realized, that though I call a lot of people here on LJ, and on other communities friend. Not many really know anything about me, or who I am. So I thought I would take the time to give a (not so) brief recount of where I have come from, who I am, and where I am going.

Ok, It's been awhile since I have updated my journal, so here goes.
I have been sworn in as a Detention Officer of the Maricopa County Sheriffs Office. I have been working in custody for 2 and a half months now, and I love my new job. I look forward to work every day.
Also, I have began working out again, trying to get into shape so that I can look my best, and feel better. I have grown tired of being overweight and am now doing something about it, with my job I have 24 hour access to a gym for free, so I am making use of it. Hopefully I can see under 200 pounds for the first time since I was 12. (right now I clock in at just over 230 pounds)

Well, I have officially started the MCSO training academy as of yesterday. Started off with running a mile and a half, as well as doing sit-ups and push-ups to get a benchmark of our physical conditions. Luckily I am fit enough to pass the examinations requirements already. Then I have the academics to worry about, which I have already let myself get behind on, stupid me, But I am caught up as of now. Just need to finish up tonights homework which is due tomorrow.
Looks like the next 10 weeks will be very interesting. Lots of fun and excitement ahead of me (note the sarcasm here). But in the end I will be set off in a good career. And be able to make enough money to support myself and my family. w00t.
I will be very sporadic on my putzings around online... even more so than usual. mainly due to the fact that I will have homework, and be exhausted as well as sore from all the physical activity, which I am not used to.

Well, I was sleeping in bed, waiting for work tonight. And at just before 4pm I get a phone call. Low and behold. It is MCSO calling me to scedule me for my start date for MSCO Training. Hot damn. I'M IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I took the Polygraph test 2 days ago. I was told when I went to take it that I would not have my results back from the test for 3 to 5 business days, so roughly between Monday and Wednesday of next week I was expecting to hear back from the sheriffs office about making the last of my appointments to get into the academy. Well, That certainly was not the case. At 6:53am the next morning I had the Email in my inbox telling me to call a certain number to set up my final appointments. So Early October I have my last 3 appointments in the first week and a half of October. A written Psyche evaluation and an Oral Psyche Evaluation, And also a Physical Exam. Which means it is very likely I will be in the academy by November.

ZOMG working working and more working. I put in my app to the local Sheriffs office, and am waiting to hear back from that. Shall be a nice career, if I can get through basic without blowing out my knees.
Also, gotta pick up a scanner for my mate here in the next couple of weeks. She has been on my tail about wanting to post her artwork on the net, and about not having the cables for the scanner we have. Found out I don't have the powercord for it, so instead of fighting with that. So I decided to pick her up a new one, the CanoScan LiDE 70. Not sure exactly how good it is compared to other scanners, but from what I could tell it seems to be the best there is for under a hundred bucks.
My mate seemed rather pleased at my telling her I would buy her a new scanner, I am glad for that. I try my damnedest to make her happy.
